The Van der Zyl book, being the first monograph in the world literature on the problems of fluctuation in semiconductors, contains an overview of theoretical and experimental works on the study of fluctuation phenomena in semiconductor materials and devices. It reflected the main original works of foreign authors characterizing the current state of the issue. The proposed monograph can serve as a useful guide for a wide range of specialists in the field of semiconductor technology, as well as for senior students of physical and radio engineering faculties of higher educational institutions.
