The monograph, on the basis of Old Russian written sources, examines the ideas of Old Russian scribes about the universe, time, space, a binary picture of the world, about the power and life of Old Russian people, which are formed into a whole picture of the world, formed under the influence of Christianity adopted at the end of the 10th century and dominated during the XI-XVII centuries in Russia.
