The design is described and recommendations are given for the use of gripping devices, differing in principle of operation and designed to complete industrial robots and manual manipulators. Classification of grippers is given. Specific examples of gripper designs and kinematic circuits are presented. A methodology for designing and calculating gripping devices has been developed.
