The monograph by M. S. Alperovich and B. T. Rudenko "The Mexican Revolution of 1910-1917 and US Politics" is the first attempt in Soviet historical literature to summarize a wide range of issues related to this problem, to show the aggressive policy of American imperialism against Mexico against the background of the events of the Mexican revolution. The work describes the economic and political situation of Mexico on the eve of the revolution, the anti-national essence of the dictatorship of P. Diaz (1877-1911), much attention is paid to the characterization of the driving forces of the revolution: the peasantry, the working class, the national bourgeoisie. A significant place in the work is occupied by the description of the heroic struggle of the Mexican people against the landowner-clerical reaction and American imperialism. The active participation of the working masses in the revolution, the heroic struggle of the peasantry led by the national heroes of Mexico Zapata and Villa create a vivid picture of the popular revolution. In a concise form, the reader will find in the book an assessment of the nature, results and historical significance of the Mexican Revolution.
