The Belarusian Institute of Science and Art in New York was established on December 16, 1951 and quickly became the scientific, social and cultural center of the Belarusian diaspora in the United States of America. BINII organizes scientific meetings, collaborates with many scientific institutions in the United States and in the whole world, conducts extensive publishing activities. The BINII Library series includes works by Belarusian emigration writers. BINII also publishes works from the field of history, literature, art. The Belarusian Institute of Science and Art publishes its scientific journal "Records."
