Twilliger's Fortune sits nestled in the mountains. The village is ready to settle in for the long winter, when a cyclops wreaks havoc, stealing away their men. Messengers are sent to find heroes to face this monster, and a lone warrior answers the call for a Daughter of Selwynd, a warrior woman who pits steel and cunning against monsters and magic. Sarelle, a young girl from the village, volunteers to act as guide for the warrior and discovers a new calling. A calling she will only live to realize if they survive the citadel of the cyclops.
