Roman I. Klaza "Belaya Rus * is dedicated to one of the brightest pages in the history of the liberation war of the masses of Belarus in the 17th century. In the center of the work is the uprising in Pinsk in 1648, where the townspeople and peasants, together with the Cossacks, whom Bogdan Khmelnitsky sent to help, are waging a mortal struggle with the troops of the hetman Radziwill.
