This small book is only part of a large, already written book on the history of construction and life of all buildings of the Palace, Admiralty and English embankments. The book consists of small chapters-stories about the facades, interiors of buildings, about the life of their most famous owners. Separately, the story of the English and New clubs located on the embankment in the late XIX - early XX centuries is highlighted. The life of the imperial Great Court is especially described.
