The book is devoted to the study of the problem of universal peace in Western European philosophical teachings. It examines the anti-war ideas of Renaissance thinkers, representatives of the philosophy of the Enlightenment, German classical philosophy, reveals their significance in the modern ideological struggle for the triumph of the philosophy of the world. Of great interest is an analysis of the teachings of authors little known to the Soviet reader: S. Frank, E Crews, Saint-Pierre and others.
