The second issue in the series of collections "Statistical processing of funerary monuments of Asian Sarmatia" 1 is devoted to the analysis of monuments of the early Sarmatian (Prokhorov) culture, the study of which in recent years has become the subject of sharp scientific debate among archaeologists. The debate is mainly around the problem of dating this culture. In the book under consideration, two authors of the main part of the collection - Doctor of History B.F. Zhelezchikov and Doctor of History A.S. Skripkin - occupy fundamentally different positions in the discussion of the chronology of early Sarmatian (Prokhorov) culture.
