Based on the analysis of written sources, as well as materials of toponymy, archeology, historical geography, linguistics, the author - Doctor of Historical Sciences V.P. Zagorovsky - argues his hypothesis about the historically interconnected three Voronezh in Russia and the origin of the word "Voronezh," determines the date of foundation of the modern city of Voronezh. The first edition of the book was carried out in 1971. The second edition was supplemented by new materials identified in recent years.
