The material is divided into two levels of complexity and is presented as a outline of lesson scenarios that implement an activity approach to learning: carefully selected tasks are immersed directly in theory. There is a set of tasks of three difficulty levels. Descriptions of short-term frontal practical work are given, allowing students to discover the patterns of physical phenomena themselves when studying new material, as well as all types of laboratory work in accordance with an approximate program. There is a heading "Home Laboratory," a section "Olympic Tasks," tasks for project activities. The textbook for grade 9 presents material for preparing for the exam.
