The book, based on a generalization of the experience of the author, as well as teachers of Leningrad and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, gives methodological recommendations and the development of lessons on the study of cultural issues of the 11th-18th centuries in the history of the USSR. Particular attention is paid to the formation of students' ability to independently analyze works of fine art and architecture, to compile a characteristic of cultural monuments. The book is intended for secondary school history teachers.
