For the first time in the domestic literature, a set of problems related to the psychological foundations of criminal liability is considered in the work. From the standpoint of legal psychology, such basic institutions of the General Part of Criminal Law are studied as sanity - insanity, related problems, age thresholds of criminal liability, problems of individualization of punishment, reasonable risk.
