The book of poetry of the American poetess Emily Dickinson has been in the plans of the Literary Monuments series since the mid-60s, twice included in the lists of upcoming editions in the 1967 and 1973 Directories. Since not a single collection of her was published during the life of E. Dickinson (and only eight poems have been published) the series presents her selected poems, supplemented by letters to several of her closest recipients.
