Book - personal memories of the Russian traveler A. D. Saltykov, twice visited India in the middle of the XIX century. He visited Sri Lanka, crossed India from the south north and east to west and gave detailed sketches of his impressions of mores and customs, the flora and fauna of the Hindustan Peninsula.
