This brochure describes a very simple and economical tube receiver designed for rural radio amateurs. It uses conventional modern battery lamps, put in the most economical mode of operation. The following conditions were the basis for the development of the receiver: a) the receiver must provide loud-speaking reception of not very remote radio stations, sufficient to serve a small room; the receiver must receive relatively remote radio stations on the handsets; b) possibility of reception for both two and one lamp, as well as for a crystal detector; c) the possibility of using lamps of various types and in various combinations; c) operation at low anode voltage and low heating voltage, which will allow using small batteries and prolong their service life; d) simplicity of design, small number of parts and low cost.
