The book describes the methodology for calculating mechanical gears and the basis for the design of typical parts of machines and mechanisms that are most widely used in various industries of mechanical engineering. The design of single-stage gearboxes and geared motors, flexible gearing, screw mechanisms and couplings is considered. Recommendations on execution of design documentation and organization of course design in general are given.
