The dictionary contains more than 3,000 synonyms and about 1,500 antonymic pairs. Combining two dictionaries in one edition is fully justified by the fact that antonyms in the language have a close relationship with synonyms, that is, words that are identical or close in meaning. The correct use of synonyms and antonyms will increase the culture of oral and written speech, enrich the vocabulary.
