Abby Millat is an independent Fine Art Appraiser with a successful career and a hunk of a Detective boyfriend Jeff Benson. When Jeff is called out on what he thought was a typical murder case it turns out to be anything but typical.Jeff must enlist Abby's help when the murder victim has a home full of artwork. Through her research she discovers very little on the man murdered other than his need to keep a secret and an abrupt exit from his childhood home. While appraising his artwork for auction she comes across a mysterious painting that she is immediately drawn to.Realizing she is now a part of a murder investigation she wants to do everything she can to help. When other friends of the murder victim turn up dead she will stop at nothing to find out why. Weeding their way through very little evidence or help from those that knew them. What they find is a secret kept for more than 60 years turns out to be a secret that only they will see.
