Literary heritage of A.O. Kornilovich (1800-1834), historian and writer, Decembrist, employee of the Polar Star, for the most part nowhere before published, was first collected and commented on in the publication of Literary Monuments. It includes all the famous works of art by Kornilovich, most of the historical and political works, more than a hundred letters. Difficulties were associated with the attribution and dating of the stories "Morning is wiser than evening" and "Tatyana Boltova," the inclusion of which reviewers found insufficiently motivated in Kornilovich's volume.
