The geopolitical and geocultural potential of empires is considered - the author asks the question: is empire as a geopolitical phenomenon a "legacy of the past" or a "window to the future"? In the book, the reader will find an analysis of many imperial projects (the European Union, the Great Islamic Ummah, Great Germany, the nationalist geotopias of the Caucasus, Great China, Greater Korea, Greater Somalia and many others): their essence, claims, the presence of "soft" and "hard" options, potential and opportunities for the implementation of the project.
