One of the big problems of the wood of Asian history, which has constantly attracted the attention of researchers for more than two hundred years, is the so-called Kushan problem. Limited initially by the tasks of clarifying the main events of an almost completely unknown period in the history of North India, it very soon outgrew the content and significance of the scope of the problems of the historical past of one country. At present, this is a wide range of complex and diverse issues related to events that took place in the last centuries BC. e. and the first centuries BC. e., in the vast territory of Central, Central and South Asia. The traditional, generally accepted name no longer fully reflects the real content of the problem, although the history of the Kushan state as such undoubtedly remains one of its main sections.
