This collection is dedicated to the events that took place in Brest and the Brest Fortress in June-July 1941, and for the first time introduces a wide range of sources into scientific circulation, makes available documents and materials that are most important for understanding the events of the initial period of the war. The publication is aimed at historians, local historians, students, as well as everyone who is interested in the history of the city of Brest and the Brest Fortress. All text sources are given in the original language and translated into Russian.
