Playing a videogame is like leaping through a portal to another world. Inside these fanciful lands, we become heroes, intrepid plumbers, monster-tamers or perhaps even a simple white rectangle bouncing a square ball. That's the advantage that videogames have over TV shows, films or books; with games, we get to interact with worlds first-hand, and no genre enables you to do that like the role-playing game.
