The collection contains articles and abstracts of articles by Soviet and foreign scientists on the external and internal structure of riddles, proverbs and other types of folk sayings, in particular, it will accept and velerisms. The book is a logical continuation of the "Paremiological Collection" published in 1978, which aroused great interest of paremiologists, folklorists, linguists and representatives of related disciplines. The appendix to the book provides an extensive list of paremiological publications of 1975 - early 1982.
