The book is a monograph of an educational nature. Preserving to some extent the traditional construction of courses in physical chemistry, it contains a number of new sections (photochemistry, polymer properties, etc.) and is saturated with examples borrowed from the actual material of biochemistry, molecular biology, bioorganic chemistry. The book contains an extensive bibliography, systematized by topic, degree of complexity and purpose of literary sources.
