For the first time in the Soviet Union, the "Illustrated Military Technical Dictionary" (in Russian, English, German, French and Spanish) refers to the type of so-called picture dictionaries, in which terms are grouped according to the subject-thematic principle. The dictionary contains over 2500 drawings and diagrams of a scientific, general technical and military-technical nature and includes about 10,000 lexical units for each language.
