This brochure is devoted to the peculiarities of the movement of squid and other live rockets. It popularly summarizes the author's long-term studies conducted both in the ocean and in the laboratory. Simulations of individual propulsion systems allowed the curtain to be raised over the mystery of the speed of live rockets.
