The monograph explores the methods of interpretation by historians of the social aspects of science, as well as the nature of the development of science from the point of view of such properties of this development as translational, cumulative, continuity, revolutionary. It gives a modern formulation of the problems of sociality in the historiography of science in connection with the study of revolutionary situations, creative processes, the personality of a scientist, the relationship of science and society, science and culture.
