This book is not a textbook, not a systematic collection of chemical experiments. This is a book for free experimentation, containing a number of interesting experiments based on the laws of chemistry. Along the way, indications are also made of practical applications of chemistry to various branches of human activity, not always noted in elementary textbooks. Although the book does not pursue educational goals, I still think that someone unfamiliar with chemistry will derive from it initial concepts about this science; an acquaintance will find in it instructions on how to use his knowledge to stage experiments in a more spectacular form than they are usually done in school laboratories.
