Many achievements of the culture of the Indians and Eskimos, which have long become the property of mankind, have not yet been adequately reflected in the scientific literature. References to certain elements of culture borrowed by the peoples of America and other parts of the world from the Indians, found in general works on the history of America and its indigenous population, do not make up for this drawback.
