Nestor Ivanovich Makhno is one of the most original figures in our history. Few enjoyed such popularity and love among the people as Father Makhno. He fought with all the authorities and regimes that were only during the civil war and foreign military intervention in Ukraine. The book includes "The History of the Makhnovist Movement" by P.A. Arshinov, "Memoirs" by Nestor Makhno and "Diary" by his wife. "History of the Makhnovist movement" P.A. Arshinova - the first attempt to study the revolutionary popular movement - Makhnovism. Published in Berlin in 1923 by teacher Makhno, a participant and eyewitness to the events described, it is also valuable as a document of its era. "Memoirs" N.I. Makhno came out in Paris in three parts in 1929, 1936 and 1937. They are accurate in describing events, documents, people... The surviving part of the "Diary" of Makhno's wife G.A. Kuzmenko is also the rarest evidence of that terrible time.
