2014 marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Ostrovsky - the author of the immortal book "How Steel Was Tempered" - the legendary writer of the legendary Soviet country. He lived only 32 years, but his whole courageous life was a feat. Both the writer himself and the main character of his book - Pavel Korchagin - became legendary during his lifetime.
