Repin (1968) and the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation (2006). Sergey Petrovich Tkachev (b. 1922) - Soviet and Russian painter, teacher, professor. Chairman of the Board of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR in 1976-1987. Veteran of the Great Patriotic War. The elder brother of the People's Artist of the USSR, academician A.P. Tkachev, with whom they make up the creative tandem "Brothers Tkachev"
