The third edition of the book "Coins of Russia" takes into account the results of almost all studies in the field of Russian numismatics of the imperial period, which were carried out over the past 10 years that have passed since the release of the second edition. On the basis of these studies, the information contained in the reference materials of the book was corrected and supplemented, such as a list of temporary mints of Russia, articles on coats of arms on coins, on the mutual arrangement of the front and back sides of coins, on the recalculation of coins, information on the sample of an alloy of silver coins 1701-1714. and many others.
