The second quarter of the 18th century is one of the pages of Russian military history forgotten for a contemporary. For him, the names of P.A. Rumyantsev and A.V. Suvorov, whose fame will shine a little later - in the second half of the century. Meanwhile, Russian soldiers and officers courageously performed their duty, defending the interests of the Fatherland at different borders. They fought in Finland and Poland, defeated the best army in Europe - the Prussian one, for the first time since history they entered the Crimea as warriors, and not as slaves.
