The book contains environmental characteristics of components of process solutions, basic compositions of solutions and electrolytes for metal surface treatment. Characteristics of washing systems are given, rational methods of washing and normalization of water consumption are described. The options for the layout of galvanic lines and the galvanic shop, the volumes and contamination of washing and wastewater, as well as technological schemes for the treatment of acid-alkaline and chromium-containing wastewater, technological schemes for the treatment of spent process solutions and electrolytes, as well as comparative characteristics of treatment methods are shown. The example of a specific galvanic workshop shows the multivariability of both galvanic production in terms of the volume and composition of wastewater, as well as methods for organizing wastewater treatment systems, as well as the principles of adaptation of galvanic production and various wastewater treatment systems. Described are methods of regenerating spent electrolytes and schemes for recuperating spent solutions, as well as methods of recycling galvanic sludge.
