The book of the Secretary of the Bureau of the Socialist Party of France L. Dubreil on the Commune of 1871 was written 35 years after its tragic end. The word "commune" means a territorial unit and local government - in this capacity, the commune of Paris existed and was organized earlier, but after the events of 1871 this name was assigned precisely to the government of the times of revolutionary self-government.
