The purpose of the study is a comprehensive examination of the relationship between Rome and the Greek cities of the region in the 1st - mid 3rd century AD, as well as a comprehensive study of the multifaceted process of their interaction against a wide historical background. To achieve this goal, it is supposed to raise and study issues related to relations between the Greek centers of the North-West Black Sea region and South-West Taurica and Rome represented by the administration of the province of Moesia (since 86 - Lower Moesia), and the role of the barbarian population in this.
