Hungarian philosopher and politician Derd (Georg) Lukacs is considered the last great Marxist, theorist and fighter for the communist idea. However, his path in his youth was ambiguous, his fate was not easy in his later years (Minister of Culture in the government of Imre Nagy in 1956, ideological confrontation of stagnant ideology, etc.). For the first time published in the collection, Lukach's early articles are of great interest to the Russian reader - both for supporters and opponents of the communist doctrine.
