This book, in addition to its practical purpose as a guide and reference book, is essentially an encyclopedia and chronicle of the central street of the capital of Ukraine. Khreshchatyk was formed relatively recently. Its length is only 1,200 meters. However, his role in the history of Ukraine and his unique beauty, according to the deep conviction of many generations of Kyiv, won Khreshchatyk the well-deserved glory of the best and most beautiful place on earth.
