Arkaim is a monument of the Middle Bronze Age, discovered by archaeologists in 1987 in the south of the Chelyabinsk region. Research on Sintashta culture (to which Arkaim also belongs) has been carried out for more than 30 years, but the nature of the open phenomenon is still mysterious. The dramatic history of the monument is accompanied by an inexplicably stormy manifestation of the feelings of many people for such an ancient and, in general, modest and inconspicuous object.
