The monograph is devoted to the study of the specifics of the existence of a traditional Russian wedding in the Middle Kama region within the borders of modern Udmurtia in a non-ethnic environment. The study is based on unique folklore and ethnographic materials. The historical and ethnographic context of the functioning of the wedding rite was analyzed, the style dominants of the song repertoire were revealed.
