The collection, compiled mainly from the funds of the Republican Museum of Military Glory, tells about the feats of arms of cavalry soldiers. Along with famous essays, documents on the history of the 112th (16) Bashkir cavalry division are given. Some of them show a new approach to covering the feat of the division commander of the guard, Major General M. M. Shaimuratov. In the second part of the collection, compiled by activists of the Podvig search club, lists are given on the losses of personnel of the 112th (16) Bashkir cavalry division, refined on the basis of documents of the Central Administration of the Russian Federation.
