Axlin World is full of monsters. Among them there are even those that make their way into houses at night to pick up children while they sleep. Axlin grew up knowing that her turn could come at any time. Her people from generation to generation were hiding from monsters. But, unfortunately, there are creatures from which Axlin does not know how to defend himself. And then she goes to the ancient Citadel, where she hopes to gain knowledge about how to keep people safe.
