The monograph "Catacomb culture on the territory of the Crimean peninsula" by T. A. Kopieva (1961-2020) reveals the main aspects of the development of culture, which took place in close relationship with territorial specifics and was characterized by complex dynamics of the process. Particular attention is paid to issues of chronology: a three-stage cultural and chronological periodization of monuments is presented.
