Sergey Korolko, a representative of golden youth and a graduate of a prestigious law faculty, will have a dizzying career - the position of a top manager in a large corporation. But fate makes a turn and mercilessly throws the hero off a high start. After an absurd death, Sergei's consciousness is transferred in 1976 to the body of a Soviet student without connections and prospects. Instead of a two-level apartment and a sports car, he will have a dormitory bed and public transport, and instead of working for a corporation, he will serve in the district police department.
