Collective monograph "Tajiks" is the next volume of the multivolume series "Peoples and Cultures" published by the IEA RAS (the project was developed by the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1992). This work is a fundamental generalization of historical, ethnographic, demographic, anthropological materials on the Tajik people, both obtained in recent years and published to date. An author's map of the resettlement of Tajiks has been prepared according to available statistical sources, including the latest Census of the Russian Federation.
