The tutorial covers the basic methods of machining external and internal cylindrical surfaces, planes and teeth of wheels on turning, drilling, milling, grinding and tooth-working machines. Emphasis was placed on justifying the choice of the processing method, assessing its technological capabilities, and the peculiarities of setting up machines when processing typical parts. In each practical work, a digital calculation of the results was made using the example of one of the tasks.
